Eva Chenyao He
何琛瑶
Eva Chenyao He (b. 2001, Shenzhen, China) is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York and Shenzhen, focusing on sculpture, performance, and moving images. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a minor in Interdisciplinary Study from The Cooper Union in the United States in 2025, following a 2023 exchange program at Gerrit Rietveld Academie in the Netherlands. Her multidisciplinary practice spans sculpture, installation, performance, and video. Her practice examines how replication and simulation quietly produce structural violence, turning the body into both a model and a residue within a self-consuming system that endlessly reproduces reality. Her works function as both the residue and the agents of violence—tender yet procedural, cyclical yet consuming—reflecting a contemporary condition in which meaning erodes through endless reproduction and the self is quietly absorbed into the machinery of simulation.
何琛瑶，2001年出生于中国深圳，目前生活和工作于纽约和深圳，毕业于美国库伯联盟学院纯艺专业，辅修跨学科研究。曾在荷兰里特维尔德学院交换学习。 她的作品包括雕塑、行为表演与影像等多种媒介，其创作研究复制与模拟如何在当代社会中悄然生成结构性的暴力，使身体同时成为模型与残留物，在一个不断复制现实的自我消耗系统中循环运作。她的作品在温柔与程序性、循环与消耗之间运作，既是暴力的遗留，也是暴力的执行者，呈现出在无尽复制与模拟中意义逐渐消解、主体被系统吸纳的当代状态。
